[Please note that this course does not include a preparatory e-learning module.] This specialised session has been designed as a moderated discussion session to look in further detail at the changes brought about by Federal Law no. 2 of 2015 concerning Commercial Companies and the impact these changes are currently having on corporate transactions, corporate advisory work and capacity and authority opinions.  This session is suitable for legal practitioners who have a strong and thorough understanding of UAE corporate law. In particular, participants should be knowledgeable about the recent changes to the Commercial Companies Law and how these changes are impacting on corporate transactions and advice and, more generally, their impact on capacity and authority legal opinions.  Practitioners attending these sessions should come prepared and able to knowledge share on such issues in detail and to take part in a structured discussion and workshop considering current market practice. Warning: This session is not suitable for legal practitioners who: i) are new to the UAE, ii) are not already very familiar with the concepts covered by the “Types of UAE Corporate Entities and Doing Business under the UAE Law“; or iii) do not otherwise regularly advise on matters of UAE corporate law or considerations relevant to capacity and authority opinions.
