Legal Framework - Focus Session

This specialised session will extend on some of the themes covered in the UAE Legal Framework session.  In particular, it will involve a comparative review of the “source of law” clause in other Middle East countries, and will include a case study on the promulgation of a Law and the practical implications of the passage of that Law into force on the work of legal consultants.  This session is suitable for legal practitioners who have a strong and thorough understanding of UAE constitutional law. Practitioners attending this session should come prepared and able to knowledge share on the practical application of provisions of the UAE Constitution (and supporting legislation) in the context of legal practice. Warning: This session is not suitable for legal practitioners who: i) are new to the UAE, or ii) are not already very familiar with the concepts covered by the “UAE Legal Framework” course.
